Chase just started soccer this season and he is #2 on the Kelly Green Gophers. Green is his favorite color so this was a good thing. We got a call at 7AM on Saturday that the head coach's daughter broke her arm and Dusty needed to fill in for the first game. It was a hustle to get the gang out the door fed and dressed that early but we made it which is good since we have 8 more weeks of early Saturdays. Here's a picture of Chase with Coach Daddy...
The cool thing about this season is that the kids actually play a real game. With a referee and all! Last season when Chase was 3, half the team was in pull ups and almost everyone cried at least once each game. On Saturday the game was an hour and it was fun to watch. The kids actually played! When they fell down they got up and kept playing. Amazing! Ellie and I watched from the sidelines. Here is a picture of Ellie in her new cool pink stroller with Chase on his break. She even clapped and said "Chase" during the game. His personal cheerleader.
