Only Two Wheels!

This weekend Chase asked to try his bike sans training wheels. It's foggy on my age, I'm thinking I was 6, but I do remember the carnage of learning to ride a bike. And I remember the road and lots of crying. I was thinking I could teach him on the grass but apparently the grass makes it much more difficult to peddle.

So Daddy took off the training wheels on his small bike and we put him in his already ripped jeans, helmet, and elbow pads.

Here they are removing the wheels.

He's getting a little too brave for Mommy.
So concentrating on balancing totally takes your mind off actually stopping. Chase was so excited he was "doing it" that he wasn't much into speed control so Dusty stayed right on him.
